LEARN WITH LOCAL DOG PEOPLE IN A FUN CLASSROOM SETTING

For effective dog training, you first need to understand how dogs learn. Focusing on this and how dogs communicate, rather than typical canine obedience, we teach you how to successfully coach and motivate your dog to develop good manners. Classes range from pet parents only — like Pawsitive Parenting and Before You Adopt — to those you attend with your canine companion to develop skills for everyday situations in a fun way.

The bonus to classroom learning is spending time with others in your dog community. Not only does it increase your chances of setting up a doggie play date, but it also helps your dog learn valuable socialization skills, impulse control, problem-solving and coping skills.

When to expect good manners and when to let your dog be a dog …

Since our classes are designed to be a rewarding experience for both you and your dog, you’ll learn positive and nurturing ways to reinforce the behaviors you want more of, while limiting the ones you don’t.

We believe there’s a time and place for everything, and teach our canine students to behave specific ways for specific situations. But when it’s not necessary for them to abide by the rules we set for them, we want our dogs to know they can relax and be themselves!

Our classes include:

  • Easy-to-replicate techniques to motivate dogs to want to learn
  • Intimate classes that enable personal attention to individual needs
  • Complimentary take-home materials custom to your training goals
  • Customizable lessons for beginners and those building on skills
  • Surefire problem-solving takeaways for everyday situations
